Cave Creek Council Meeting

Regular Council Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of the month unless they fall on a Holiday or are canceled.
In case of a holiday, the Regular Council Meeting is conducted the following Tuesday. The public is encouraged to participate in person at Town Hall, or remotely via Zoom. Regular Council Meetings are also recorded and available by video on the website under Council Videos.

Cave Creek Council Meeting

Regular Council Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of the month unless they fall on a Holiday or are canceled.
In case of a holiday, the Regular Council Meeting is conducted the following Tuesday. The public is encouraged to participate in person at Town Hall, or remotely via Zoom. Regular Council Meetings are also recorded and available by video on the website under Council Videos.

Carefree Memorial Day Tribute
Monday, May 27th, 2024, 8am to 9am at Cave Creek Memorial Cemetery, 36400 N. Pima Road, Carefree
The town of Carefree will honor military veterans with a Memorial Day tribute from 8 to 9 a.m. May 27. The tribute will be held at the Cave Creek Memorial Cemetery and feature multiple speakers and performances.
Retired U.S. Air Force Col. Deborah Lehker will be a guest speaker. Lehker was a chief nurse in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Austin Stasik, a graduating senior at Cactus Shadows High School, will also speak.
Stasik interviewed five veterans and published their stories for the nonprofit Veterans Heritage Project, which looks to catalog military experiences among those who served. The VHP wants to conduct its 3,000th interview by the end of the year.
