Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast

The Kiwanis Club of Carefree will hold its annual PANCAKE BREAKFAST on Saturday, March 9th in downtown Carefree, from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The largest hands-on outdoor expo in Arizona is at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department’s Outdoor Expo will feature everything from wildlife exhibits and family fishing tanks and trying out firearms in a safe, controlled environment on the range.

The Blue Zones Scottsdale Project is a comprehensive initiative that transforms the environments where people live, work, learn, and play to measurably improve community well-being, resilience, and economic vitality.

Blue Zones Project is a first-of-its-kind population health initiative based on research and principles developed by Dan Buettner, a National Geographic Fellow and New York Times best-selling author who identified the cultures of the world—or blue zones—with the healthiest, longest-living populations.

Research shows that where people live has a bigger influence on their health than their genetics, so Blue Zones Project focuses on the Life Radius®—the area close to home where people spend 90% of their lives. Blue Zones Project works with communities to optimize public policies, social connections, and the places and spaces where people spend the most time (streets, parks, schools, workplaces, grocery stores, faith communities, homes) to help make healthy choices easy and more accessible to all. All residents on Miramonte east of the Sugarloaf intersec????on, 57th Place and 56th Circle must move their vehicles by 6 am to ei- ther Miramonte OUTSIDE the Gate or Sugarloaf or 58th St. This also means all residents of 54th St., Chuparosa and Miramonte west of the Sugarloaf intersec????on MUST use Sugarloaf and 58th St to the entrance/exit of the community. Friday, March 29 Project finished: resume daily use of the streets with no restric????ons. HOMEOWNER ACTION REQUIRED: For the week of March 25th, ALL residents must cancel or reschedule all service ac????vi????es in the community... this includes but is not limited to landscaping, deliveries, pes????cide applica????on, pool service, cleaning service, or any other service as the road traffic will be restricted.
