Elephant Mountain Race
Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, 6am at Spur Cross
The 50 Mile distance will follow the same route as the 50K but instead of turning around at Spur Cross Conservation Area, you’ll continue north past Spur Cross to explore the gorgeous Tonto National Forest backcountry.
Runners will follow Trail 4 north, skirting the west side of Skull Mesa with Cave Creek just a few hundred feet west of the trail as you’ll cross through the beautiful Chalk Canyon on your way to Seven Springs. After receiving aid at Seven Springs, runners will head south past Cartwright Ranch and hop on the Cottonwood Trail which will eventually become the Maricopa Trail and follow this all the way back around the east side of Skull Mesa, passing through canyons and old abandoned campgrounds until you meet back up with Trail 4 at Cave Creek.
The 50K and 35K courses feature some incredible single track including a trip out of Cave Creek Regional Park along the Maricopa Trail to Spur Cross Ranch and back, finishing with a loop through Cave Creek Regional Park. The 6K and 12K courses stay within Cave Creek Regional Park and features the Go John and new Quartz trail.

WELCOME TO THE LEGENDS ROUGHSTOCK SERIES!
Hello! Let me introduce myself. My name is Bradley Boudreau and I am the founder and owner of Team Don't Weaken and the Legends Roughstock Series! My staff and I are excited to announce our PRO and CHALLENGER Legends Rough Stock Series! We are highlighting athletes 35 years of age and older in the three most dangerous events in rodeo. Bull riding, bareback and saddle bronc. The PRO competitors that participate in legends events are the champions of yesteryear ranging from the ages of 40 to 70 years of age! That's right! Your pops, grandpa and great grandad spurring the hair off of em! In the CHALLENGER Series we highlight athletes from ages 35 and up and women of all ages!
They are a very very small elite group of men and women that are still capable physically and mentally to compete at this level in roughstock events. They are the true ironmen of rodeo.
Come share in the western heritage and support us and support these legendary athletes in their next chapter of competition. We have events across the world taking place this upcoming year with the final event being in Southern Nevada!
