Who was Joshua Chamberlain? – Jim Sherbert Lecture Series
January 16 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm Joshua Chamberlain received a Medal of Honor for his heroics at Gettysburg in 1863. He was in more than 20 battles during the Civil War, wounded six times, one which was near fatal. Chamberlain was also a college professor who went on to be governor of Maine. But most people remember Chamberlain for his selfless acts of courage and leadership, his respectfulness of others, and his compassion for his fellow man. Learn about a truly great American.
