Community volunteers, lead my Thomas Secor and Bobby Herbeck, are holding a Keep Cave Creek Clean event on Saturday, January 25 at 8 a.m. to pick up trash along Carefree Hwy. The group is starting at 44th Street and Carefree Hwy. Tools provided.

Cave Creek is now a member of Keep American Beautiful (KAB), a national nonprofit organization with the sole purpose of inspiring and educating volunteers to take action to keep communities clean.
Our first (of many) street cleanups will coincide with the Foothills Food Bank annual Shred-a-Thon which promotes safe disposal of sensitive documents, proper recycling of electronics, re-use of clothing to those in need and large waste removal. This one hour cleanup will happen before Shred-a-Thon event begins and thanks to North Valley Junk Removal, we'll be able to have everything disposed of in a proper manner as we beautify our community and make our desert more healthy that it was before |
